The TDA7297/ TDA7293 Audio Amplifier is a monolithic integrated circuit in the Multiwatt15 package, intended for use as an audio class AB amplifier in Hi-Fi field applications, such as home stereo, self-powered loudspeakers, and Topclass TV. Thanks to the wide voltage range and the high output current capability it is able to supply the highest power into both 4-Ω and 8-Ω loads.
The built-in muting function with turn-on delay simplifies the remote operation avoiding on-off switching noises.
Parallel mode is possible by connecting several devices and using pin11. High output power can be delivered to very low impedance loads, so optimizing the thermal dissipation of the system

This regulator can provide local on-card regulation by eliminating distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. The L7809CV fixed voltage regulator is designed with thermal overload protection that shuts down the circuit when subjected to an excessive power overload condition, internal short circuit protection that limits the maximum current the circuit will pass, and output transistor safe area compensation that reduces the output short circuit as the voltage across the pass transistor is increased. If adequate heat sinking is provided then this positive voltage regulator can deliver over 1A output current.
